ACVA Online Spring 2010
|By ACVA Online President William Levacy|
|The first days of spring are upon us and I'm looking forward to a fresh, new season of continued progress at ACVA Online. We've begun developing the college's strategic plan for 2010 and beyond. Our board of directors and steering committee, faculty, and staff have conducted many brainstorming events and visioning sessions. We are all striving to find ways to make ACVA Online even better and educationally more robust in the seasons ahead.|
This spring, our managing Steering Committee team poured over all the feedback and ideas given to us in the last few months. This input has helped us identify specific goals and initiatives for ACVA's new future as primarily an online school of Vedic education.
The ACVA Online operating members met several times during the winter with board members and senior ACVA Online supporters. As a result we have produced a first draft of ACVA’s goals, policies and procedures for 2010 and beyond. We expect to finalize the plan before the start of the Summer season.
Despite the challenging economic situations over the last several months, enrollment remains steady with ever increasing student satisfaction. This spring season will welcome another entering class with students from around the world.
Our continuing enrollment and high expressions of learner satisfaction is a testament to the exceptional learning environment that ACVA Online provides all of our learners. Through prudent, focused fiscal management and the generous time and money of our supporters, we will continue our efforts to strengthen ACVA Online’s educational strategies in Vedic astrology. Raising funds for student scholarships is a new priority and we encourage all friends and alumni of ACVA Online to do what they can to support us in our grand and joyful efforts to make Vedic astrology education available to learners world wide.
