New ACVA Online Learning Model and Policies

Effective April, 2010

Policy Letter - Page Four

Instruction: Formal Online Instructor Training

Formal ACVA Online Instructor Training must be taken in order to qualify to teach online. However, completing Instructor Training does not guarantee a teaching post at ACVA Online, although everyone will be considered as appropriate. Holders of the former ACVA certificates will not qualify to be online instructors, unless the formal ACVA Online training is obtained from ACVA. Holders of ACVA Level I and II certificates from the former ACVA learning model, can still identify themselves as recipients of such, and tutor their own students, but the tutoring no longer applies towards the new ACVA Online Certification.
