Community Issues Workshop:
| May 24th 2012 American College of Vedic Astrology (ACVA) / Council of Vedic Astrology (CVA) The Implications of Spirituality in the Practice of Vedic Astrology Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) offers concrete assessments of spiritual issues in the natal chart. Traditional principles and concepts such as the Ista Devata and linkage to the 9th house; houses 4, 8, and 12 reflecting the purushartha of Moksha; Sanyas, the fourth ashram of life; etc., provide substantial insights about a subtle aspect of an individual's life. This panel will address the modern usage of the adjunct Vedic sciences (Ayurveda; Gandharva Veda; Vastu Shastra; and remedial measures) in the contemporary practice of Jyotish.
